A Hobby That Became a Passion
As I approached my 70th birthday, I began thinking about retiring from the construction business and finding something enjoyable to do with my time. Around that same period, a friend of mine was preparing to close his popcorn store.
I had helped him at the shop from time to time and always enjoyed the process of making popcorn, experimenting with ingredients, and creating new flavors. When I asked what he planned to do with the equipment, I made him an offer: if I bought the machines, he had to teach me everything he knew about the popcorn business.
At first, I thought it would simply be a fun hobby to keep me busy during retirement. It did not take long for it to become much more than that.
People loved the unique flavors we created, the consistent freshness of our popcorn, and the care we put into every batch. What started as a retirement hobby quickly grew into a true passion and a business built around quality, creativity, and the love we package into every bag.
